It was a conference that typically portrayed the end of a generation life cycle all the games looked terrific fun and lavishly produced but there was little on display that we haven seen before. The lack of a big surprise and a relative dearth of brand new titles stopped this from being a great conference but it was a briefing that will set the tone for E3 2012 with the big guns dominating the show floor with more bombast than ever before. Loud and extravagant? Sounds like E3 to me..
